The Purpose

​

Acting Languages primarily aims at promoting foreign languages through drama. 

​

We have launched a French Drama course where French learners and native speakers meet and learn together. They get to know one another through drama, exercises, improvisations, scenes and carefully selected texts.

​

We have recently launched an Italian Drama course. And other languages will follow too !

​

Through Acting Languages, native speakers meet with local people in a friendly settings , while language learners get an exceptional opportunity to exchange with native speakers and boost their confidence.

Topics Of The Course

   Phonetics

    Aims to analyze the syllable sounds of each word and be able to reproduce them in order to have a perfect pronunciation of each word.

   Diction
   Aims to understand how the author highlights ideas and concepts choosing specific words in each sentence.

   Body expression
   Aims to develop communication skills and tools such as body language, gesture and voice in order for the student to feel at ease with any situation.

   Improvisation
   Aims to challenge students, putting them in various situations which will give opportunities to express themselves and become more confident when speaking.

   Acting
   With the students’ agreement, the teacher will choose dialogues and texts of various authors that students will have to perform.

   Writing
   Aims to develop the students’ sentence building skills so they can write their own dialogues and text.
